The New York Times - Breaking News, World News & Multimedia

The question posed by “The Daily Show” on Wednesday is whether a political satirist loses credibility when hobnobbing with a sitting president.

Credibility as what? He's still a comedian, and still funny, still political, and still a satirist. If Obama had come on as an idiot with something Stewart could have hilariously skewered (think Palin, Beck, Bachmann, O'Donnel, et naseum), he would have done so. But if someone is presenting a reasonable case reasonably, what do people want, doodie-head humor? (Well, maybe...)
